About the event
Join our fun stewardship work parties as a way to make new friends, gain connections in the neighborhood, spend time in the forest, and help our local ecosystem! We would love your company and your help removing invasive ivy in a corner of a park with an otherwise thriving forest.
In 2026 FHNA is celebrating its 30 year anniversary, and revisiting its roots. We're supporting the health of the Juanita Woodlands forest, where FHNA volunteers once planted many trees, to remove the invasive ivy and blackberry that have taken over the southwest corner of the park. Later we'll transplant and plant some native plants to restore the health of the forest. We hope you'll be a part of it.
