Native Plant Hike

Join Kerstin Rogers, Nature Educator and FHNA's Community Engagement Coordinator, for a hike in this wild-feeling state park focused on native plant identification and knowledge! Whether you're new to the area and interested in getting to know the plants here, or you're an expert on the plants in our forests, please join us! We'd love to hear what you know and learn together.

🍄 This will be an especially interesting time to look for mushrooms! There should be myriad mysterious mushroom species popping up all over the forest at this time and we can consult our pocket mushroom guide and see what we can identify.

☂️ The hike will happen rain or shine. Dress for the weather, in shoes that will help you navigate sometimes steep trails and possible mud.
