About the event
Join us for a casual and friendly active forest walk through the beautiful St. Edward State Park where we stop occasionally to get to know native plants around us! This will be a great way to talk with neighbors, enjoy time in nature even when the weather isn't the best, and practice identifying some of our local trees and plants.
Participants in this hike will receive a free native plant to take home! 🪴🌟
We will explore first signs of spring and listen to the birds that are migrating through, or beginning their mating calls and displays. The eagles have been out, and on the last hike we heard an owl often. 🦅🦉
Children are welcome.
Dress for the weather, with sturdy shoes!
