About the event
Join us for a casual and friendly active forest walk through the beautiful St. Edward State Park where we stop occasionally to get to know native plants around us! This will be a great way to talk with neighbors, enjoy time in nature even when the weather isn't the best, and practice identifying some of our local trees and plants.
Since this hike falls on Valentine's Day, consider bringing your love, and perhaps stopping in at The Lodge afterward for a coffee, drink or romantic bite to eat. ๐ ๐
There will be many wonderful evergreen plant species to explore, even in winter, and trees that can be recognized by their bark, shape and branching patterns. Perhaps we'll get a chance to hear some winter birds too! ๐ฆ
Children are welcome.
Dress for the weather, with sturdy shoes!
