DennyFest 2011 – Sunday, September 18

The Annual Don’t-Miss Event is just around the corner–DennyFest 2011!


Fall and the start of school year are just around the corner and so is DennyFest, the annual celebration of Neighbors and the environment in O.O. Denny Park.  This year’s celebration will be held on Sunday September 18th from 11:30  – 4:00 pm.  Finn Hill Neighbors and supporters of DCNA are invited to meet new friends, catch up with old friends, enjoy some good food, music and have fun.

Four-legged Fun!

The traditional Dog Show will continue with a Dog parade prior to the competition and lots of great prizes for the winners.


Cook-off!

The popular chili and pie contests are back and you can be the judge.  Bring your appetite and sample pies and chili prepared by your neighbors.


Trail Walk!

A trail tour will be given at @2;00 pm.  Learn about the wonders of our park and it’s vegetation, wildlife and history.


Kid Zone!

Arts and Crafts for children, as well as Wild Child portraits.


Kiosks!

Some of our local government and service groups will have information available.


Volunteer Opportunities

We’re looking for volunteers! We can use your help with the Arts and Crafts projects (one hour shifts) and we need a few volunteers to help with grilling food.  We are also looking for tents, tables and chairs for the day of the event.  Please contact info@dennycreek.org if you can join the volunteer team or loan us any of these items.
