Kirkland Annexation celebration schedule set

Residents of the Finn Hill, north Juanita, and Kingsgate areas due to be annexed into Kirkland on June 1 are invited, along with city residents, to participate in several activities over a three day period in early June.
Wednesday, June 1, Open House, Kirkland City Hall, 4–7 p.m.
Welcome by City and other officials, 5:30 p.m.
Light refreshments, 6 p.m.
Meet staff, advisory board volunteers, and neighborhood association members
Visit information booths to learn about the City and other services
Thursday, June 2, Business Breakfast, Casino Caribbean, 7:30-9:30 a.m.
Keynote Speaker: Capt. Mike Ursino,Kirkland Police Department (Limited seating. Email your reservation to businessbreakfast@kirklandwa.gov)
Friday, June 3, Community Celebration, Juanita Beach Park (north side of Juanita Drive), 3 p.m.
Welcome by City and other officials, 6 p.m.
Enjoy a free dessert, 6:30 p.m.
Musical performances by Kamiakin Jr. High School Jazz Ensemble, Juanita High School Pep Band, 7–7:30 p.m.
Bluegrass Music by Back Burner, 8 p.m.
