Finn Hill new district lines – Nov 1 is final opportunity to comment
As you may know, a committee was appointed earlier this year to redraw King County Council district lines in order to accommodate population growth in the County (mostly on the Eastside) and to ensure that districts encompass roughly equivalent numbers of residents (about 215,000 per district). Volunteer to be a salmon watcher
The Salmon Watcher Program trains volunteers to identify and record species and numbers of spawning salmonids in streams in the Lake Washington Watershed. Denny Creek is one of the streams listed by King County. Redistricting plans underway in King County
The King County Districting Committee has begun public hearings on four alternate County Council redistricting plans. The plans are online at www.kingcounty.gov/districting .
